The object of the former Zichy Palace, situated on the corner Ventúrska and Prešportskej street, was built between 1770 - 1780 on the site of three medieval townhouses, probably according to the project builder Fellneka who worked in Bratislava in the construction chamber under the artistic direction of Austrian architect Fr. A. Hillebrandt. The PALACE represents the Bratislava baroque classicism their facilities and expression street facade with architectural elements in the style of Louis XVI. Building has undergone several renovation stages and construction work. Count Francis Zichy Palace was owned until 1869 when it purchased the Industrial Bank. In the late 19th and early 20th century palace adjusted to individual residential and business premises. Insensitive recent period damaged the original appearance, layout and devalue palatial character of the building. Council Decision of the National Committee of the City Government is in a former palace set up Dom civil ceremonies. The authors restoration was to return the building palatial character. Implementation of this plan will address modern-day architectural and artistic means. Zichy Palace restoration was carried out in 1980 - the 1989th.
